Take Action with Denton County Friends of the Family

Hello-

My name if Jennifer Mize and I am with Denton County Friends of the Family, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate and supportive services to those impacted by relationship violence and sexual asault while partnering with the community to promote a society free of violence.

The purpose of this message is to inform you about our new interactive theatre program, A.C.T. (Acting to Change the Truth), dedicated to the primary prevention of relationship violence. We need you to take action. We our currently seeking volunteers willing to commit ONLY 2 to 3 hours per week. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in:

Service hours
Scriptwriting
Directing
Improvisation
Acting
Leadership
Building communication skills
A chance to make a difference in the community
Education on relationship violence
Enhancing performance skills
